Multiple Calf Rearer Opportunities

Fortuna Group is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Calf Rearers to join our teams for the upcoming calving season across several Southland dairy operations.

These are hands-on seasonal roles suited to people who enjoy working with animals, take pride in high standards of care, and thrive in a team environment.

Current Opportunities:

We are currently seeking Calf Rearers for the following farms:

• PVD – located 25km from Invercargill

• Patiki – Riversdale/Waikaia area

• Iron Bridge – located 16km from Invercargill

• Miraka – Edendale district

About the Role:

You will assist with all aspects of calf rearing, including:

• Feeding and monitoring calves

• Maintaining excellent hygiene and calf health standards

• Cleaning equipment and calf sheds

• Supporting the wider farm team during calving

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Genuine care for animals

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to work early mornings and flexible hours during peak calving

• Previous calf rearing or farming experience is an advantage but not essential — training can be provided
