Expressions of Interest: Farm Manager
Fortuna Group is seeking expressions of interest from high-performing Farm Managers who are ready to take the next step in their dairy career. Our Farm Managers oversee the day-to-day operations of farms located across Southland by leading teams, shaping farm policy, and driving financial and operational performance. We are looking for ambitious, capable leaders who strive for excellence and want to grow within a progressive, values-driven farming business.
Fortuna Group:
Fortuna Group was founded in 2012 by David and Kay Dodunski, who began farming in Southland back in 1992 with 216 cows on 125 hectares. With a focus on efficiency, innovation, and care for the land, the business grew rapidly. Today, Fortuna Group is one of the fastest-growing dairy operations in the lower South Island, operating 24 dairy farms and six support blocks with over 16,500 cows across more than 7,000 hectares.
We are recognised for progressive farming practices, strong performance, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way — for our people, our animals, and the environment. Our purpose extends beyond the farm gate: we aim to enrich the world through dairy while creating meaningful opportunities. Safety is at the heart of everything we do — we strive to be among the safest dairy farms in New Zealand, where every team member goes home safe, every day.
At the heart of our success are the people who run and support our farms. Together, we’re building a sustainable future for the next generation of New Zealand dairy farming. Learn more about who we are at fortunagroup.net.nz
